Dr. Alireza Heidarnejad

In 2016, Dr. Alireza Heidarnejad joined the Royan Institute for Biotechnology in Isfahan, Iran, where he received specialized training in embryology techniques and animal cloning technologies.

In 2017, after earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) degree and successfully passing the national entrance examination for Ph.D. programs administered by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, he joined the Avicenna Research Institute to pursue a Ph.D. in Reproductive Biology.

During his doctoral research, Dr. Heidarnejad developed a novel microfluidic chip designed for the isolation of rheotactic spermatozoa. This innovative technology contributed to advancing sperm selection methods for assisted reproductive technologies.

He currently serves as a Clinical Embryologist at the Avicenna Fertility Center and its second branch located at Parsa Hospital in Tehran, Iran.
